Our Ladwig Heritage

Wilhelmina Fredricka Ladwig,(1833-1913) eldest daughter of John F. and Sophia Ladwig married (Carl) Friedrick Krause (1828-1903) in 1854 in Germany.  They had eleven children, the oldest daughter having died in Germany before the couple came to America in 1856-57. First settled in Jefferson Co., WI and then to Bremer Co., Iowa area.
