Christmas 2003
This is the Bahamian Christmas spectacle called Junkanoo. A Street procession festival set to brass, goat skin, Cowbells and whistles percussion music at Christmas and New years time in the Bahamas of which all Bahamians are quite proud. This is as traditional as Bahamian gets besides Kalik beer and Conch Salad so watch out, They comin!!
This Junkanoo festival occurs during the dark hours of the dusk or down. The photographs are taken in those dark hours and may have the perception of not being so bright. This is because of the darkness of those fantastic, musical hours.
