| Andy Bryant joined the Royal Air Force in 2003 after completing a sponsored Masters degree in aeronautical engineering and arrived at Wittering in July 2004..It was on an expedition with Cambridge University Air Squadron that he first dived in Gozo, Malta in June 2000 and another a year later brought him up to Sports Diver standard. During his travels after university he dived in SE Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and finally completed his first UK dive at the glamorous Stoney Cove. He recently took part in an expedition to Cornwall and is now starting work towards his Dive Leader qualification. Sports and Interests He enjoys all outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, skiing and parachuting as well as being a keen rugby player. Favourite ive Site His favourite dive would probably be the SS Yongala, Townsville, Australia: a beautifully preserved wreck, with a wide range of life, truly massive fish and a fascinating history. Exped Aspirations He hopes to consolidate his diving experience whilst in Belize, develop his practical skills with equipment and contribute to the studies being undertaken. |
