Zone Representatives and Assignment of Duties:
All Zone Committee Representatives were reminded of the duties they are responsible for in their own networks. The following duties can be found on page 4 of the constitution: 1. Information gathering - By December 1st, send the Zone President names, correct addresses and phone numbers of participating Y’s, coaches, and a professional contact person at each Y in that network. 2. Information disbursement - getting Zone minutes and other information out to all network teams. 3. Act as a Network liaison - bring any matters causing concern in our network to the attention of the Zone Committee. Only bring concerns that are relevant to Zone business.
National Meet Update:
Not much was said…nice venue and great venders.

Networks:
Not all numbers were available. When all numbers are turned in, the list will be updated and send out.
Bids For The 2007-08 Zone Championship Meets:
No bids were brought to the zone meeting. Everyone is to go back to their networks to see if anyone is interested in hosting this meet. We can also go back to a split meet if that would help. Please email Colleen Eckel your information if you are thinking about hosting a Zone Meet……ASAP.
Review Petitions:
The Zone Committee reviewed the petitions and recommendations were given. Each team will be notified of the decisions within the next weeks.
Other New Business:
Prep Optional was brought up again. Each area can decide if they want to do a prep optional level and see how it goes. Any feedback will be given to the Zone Committee after this season.
The website will be updated with the new constitution soon. There will also be a coach’s only section and you can only get into it if you have the correct password. All network teams will get a password. One of the things in the coach’s only section will be each teams roster. This will be helpful when you need to get ready for a meet. A motion was made by Casey Koenig and seconded by Debbie Comstock that all electronically submitted rosters do not have to have a signature from an Executive Director but a signed copy must be keep on file at each individual YMCA, motion passed.
