New Moon Sketches

The picture below shows the Sinus Iridium, a bay opening onto the Mare Imbrium.  The large crater to the left is Plato.  Numbers on the drawing are explained by a key at right.  The drawing was done on September 20, 1999, during the waxing third quarter.   South is "up" with this sketch.
