| 09-20-03 Hello All, Well we finished up one busy summer! Didn�t get to do too much in the way of family fun stuff. The boys were a big help on this house project. A quick update, the mobile home is gone! The dig out for the foundation is done and now we are waiting on the builder. It looks like about the middle of October they will start and then it should be 4 months from when they start. If these plans go anything like what we have been through so far, the house will be done sometime in 2006! Well the boys are back in school. Adam and Jon are enjoying 8th and 6th grades. Cody started to school this week. Cody loves it, his mom doesn�t. She was in tears putting him on the bus yesterday. The garden finally produced some tomatoes. The cucumbers just keep rolling in. We have a couple of cantaloupes that might make it before it gets too cold. We have some carrots and onions still to harvest. The grapes did pretty well and we have been enjoying them. We are also getting some raspberries! The fruit trees were a disappointment this year, I am trying to take solace in that many trees in this area did not produce this year. We had a warm spring and then a couple of late frosts. We had a dry summer this year. It has finally cooled off and we have had some rain. Lot�s of deer around this year. Adam and Jon have been working on computers. I bought them some old stuff on e-bay. Adam has been working in the evenings putting some units together. Adam is still playing the piano. We moved it up to the new pump house. The animals are doing well, we have at least one egg eating chicken, (she will not be doing well once I find her). Shaq the cat came home with one of the neighbors baby chickens the other day! Not good. Projects in the works, finish the new pump house and move all the filter equipment into it. Also there are lots of trees to trim and other fun stuff! That�s about it for now! Glynn Jr. |
