GLORYRIDERS Motorcycle Club
A BRIEF HISTORY of THE
GLORYRIDERS
MCC
Because the new club met at The Glory public house, Burnley Rd, Rawtenstall, Lancashire, it was decided to call the new club the Glory Riders. During which time the club held a couple of bike shows, and easter egg runs etc., all to raise money for charity.

The club then moved to The White Lion Rawtenstall, and met there until it was renovated and had new management.

After a period of trying different venues, the club settled at The Woolpack Haslingden, (just a few miles from Rawtenstall), and still meet there today, and are still a family orientated club with about 20 members, most of whom, were the founder members.

The club has no chair, however, all decisions, are dealt with in a democratic way.

Since the club was formed, members have been to Czechoslovakia ( has a new name now) twice, also holidaying in France, Germany, and Spain, and are going to Italy in May 2002.
The clun also organises weekend trips to biking venues, and Karaoke nights etc. There is a good spread of different types of bike, ranging from sports to sports cruisers to custom cruisers and anything in between.
The club was started approx 4 yrs ago at the break-up of the Lancashire Road Riders Club. The break-up being caused by difficulties within the Road Riders. A faction decided to leave and form a new club.
WE WELCOME NEW MEMBERS or FELLOW BIKERS WHO JUST DROP IN.
