The PC Project

For the last several years, I've been running all of my myriad projects (development for this web site, personal and professional writings, etc, etc, etc, etc) on a pretty decent computer-an IBM Aptiva, using a Pentium 233 (note, not a P2 or P3-a Pentium) with a two gig HD.  But, now, it's time for me to upgrade.

The games I want to play-or expect TO play-won't run on my system anymore.  The slow system speed contributes to the difficulties of updating this web site, and I am sick and tired of having to subordinate my life to a slow computer.  And, thusly, the PC Project begins, and I'm asking for something important.

I'm asking for donations.

Listed below is two sets of tables-one of what I expect to get via my own purchases, and what I'd REALLY like to have, either via upgrading or donations.  What will you get if you donate to the PC Project?  Besides the warm, fuzzy feeling of helping someone out, you'll get listed here as a contributor and my gratitude.  So, here comes the PC Project listing!

Thanks for the support, and keep an eye out for me-I'll be Q3A-ing soon enough!
