| Bio I was a Dancer for 30 years. I won my Provincial Dance Championships 2 years in a row. I have danced professionally all across Canada, as well as in England, Iceland, and Japan. I have studied and performed many different styles of Dance. I don't seem to be dancing right now. I'm a bit surprised by that. * I write Poetry which is usually in the form of free-verse or blank verse. I self-published a chapbook of Poetry with Kreddible Trout. I perfomed in Vancouver, Halifax, and Montreal as a Spoken Word Artist. Then I suddenly got shy. I didn't like being in front of an audience anymore. * I discovered that I love to be behind the scene. I love photography. I have my father to thank for that. I also love paper, pens, paint, and glue. I love to cut things. Like wood and glass. I trained as a Stained Glass Artist in Woodstock, New Brunswick. I don't have a studio at the moment that I can break glass in. * I studied Sculpture, Molding & Carving at the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design. I also studied handsewn Book-Binding at NSCAD. * Now I am earning my degree in Technical Theatre at Dalhousie University, with a focus on Set Design. I do a little work at Neptune Theatre, but mostly I'm still in school. If I were to go on to pursue an advanced degree, I think it might be in Architecture. Or I may just go back to NSCAD. Or I may go back home to Vancouver and study at the Emily Carr Art Institute. Or I may just go back to Europe. I haven't really decided yet. * |
