Are you searching for the Tweedys, Tweedies or Twiddys of Northeastern North Carolina? I have also been searching for all the Twiddys in Northeastern North Carolina, I have searched Pasquotank, Perquimans, Chowan, Tyrrell, Washington, Dare, Currituck and Camden Counties. I have spent a many hours in the above counties searching records to find all the information I could on the Tweedy to the Twiddys. I searched Marriages, Deaths, Births, Census and Wills from the forementioned counties. Of the records I found go back to Old Albemarle to a Thomas Tweedy of the 1600's. Could he be part of your family tree. I compiled a book of abstracts from all the records I found.
