Seems that you can't go anywhere and take a picture without seeing a Port-O-Lid!  Hehe.
Ok, this is a picture of some friends and myself.  I am the one in the yellow jacket holding the beer and digital camera.  Yeah, I was a little wasted, but it's all good. It was the weekend before we deployed to Iraq.
This was while we were convoying to Tikrit, Iraq from Kuwait.  Yes, I had a loaded rifle this time.  That truck sped away, but thats prolly cause it had a 50 Cal. aimed at it, not from my rifle. :)
This is me standing in front of the palace that Saddam was seen firing the shotgun from on the balcony.  Unfortunately, some artillery rounds found this massive place and it is a ruins.  (Note:  They don't let us have loaded weapons while inside the gates of our base.  Thats why I don't have a magazine in the rifle. :) )
This is me running some WF-16 phone wire.  I had to climb this pole to run the wire across the road.  Notice the other wires comming from the pole.  I just added to them.  Goes across a big road, there is a 16ft drop behind me.
This is me using a Toner.  It uses sonar to go through a wire and see if it has a good connection.  I'm kneeling next to a cliff that drops about 50 ft.  The wire that I am testing runs to the top of that building over there.  That's where we stay.  We didn't feel like running a wire over that gap so we hijacked someone elses wire that was already over there.  Hehe.
