Odyssey is a one off side project of Dan Swano containing three tracks with a total play time of 18 minutes. Dan and a couple of fellow metalheads he wished to work with took this opportunity to do his friend a favour and release an album on his label. Odyssey is pretty much straight forward heavy metal guitar work and drumming complemented by a light touch of keyboards and a defining groove factor. Swano uses his clean vocals throughout the MCD giving the release a very true metal feeling harkening back to the simplicity of decent songwriting. Lyrically Odyssey is nothing like the cover art or name sugguests, instead focus on different themes in every song from multiple personality's to Egyptian themes. Overall interesting to listen to and well written, but dissapointingly short and frustratingly never to be heard again .
