OK I just wanted to make this page so everybody would know the true story about the night of the accident. I know alot of people want to know but they just won't ask. I have had a few people ask and if anybody wants to know you can ask it doesn't bother me much to talk about it. But ok here goes this is probably gonna take forever.
Nikki, Sarah, Autumn, and I were goin camping out at Harold's pond one Friday night. I had to work that night so we didn't get out there till after midnight and Jeff Hunter was out there for awhile. Well when we got up there Harold came over to talk to Sarah and Sarah asked him if she could take the truck to get some wood. So she went over to get the truck. Then she came back over to the pond and they got some beer and Nikki, Sarah, and Autumn left to go get some pallets Harold said she could get. Jeff and I stayed at the pond and just talked. They came back and dropped the pallets off and got more beer and left again to just drive around. Jeff got a fire started and they came back like once for more beer and left again. The last time they came back Jeff left. Then we all went over to the shed to go to the bathroom and I was thrist so I got a pop. Then we all went back over to the pond and they got some beer and told me that they would be back. I just sat there and made smorse and drank my pop. Then after awhile I was just getting really bad feelings and its like I just knew something was wrong. But I didn't even know which way or where they went so just went and layed down. The weird thing was its like all this stuff went through my head like I saw Sarah running up the hill yelling my name and stuff. Then like a couple minutes later I heard somebody yelling my name and I opened the tent and there was Sarah running up the hill. All she was saying was get in the car, I hurt, take me to the hospital. So we got in the car and I drove up to the house. I ran inside and started yelling to wake somebody up. I woke Harold and Lee up and I told them that they wrecked. Harold was like asking who and I was in so much shock by this point I couldn't even barely talk. All I could say was them and I have Sarah with me but there still out there and he asked what they wrecked and I said the truck and then they left. They left me there all by myself with Sarah and I was so scared because here is my friend in so much pain and telling me she couldn't breath. I just didn't know what to do, so I called Andy Trone and Dan Grate because I just couldn't be there by myself. Then I called Sarahs mom and the hospital but somebody already called there. I was in so much shock I just kept on walking inside, outside, I just couldn't stop. Sarah kept on telling me to come in there with her but I just couldn't. I couldn't look at her, she was so dirty and she couldn't breath, and she hurt so bad. I was talking to her from the other room and onetime I tried talking to her and she never answered and I thought she died. I ran into the other room yelling at her and then she moaned. Then I went outside and there was a cop coming and Andy and Dan. I told the cop that there was one inside with me and there were more out there. I told Dan, Sarah was inside so he went in there with her. I kept on telling Andy what if me sister is dead like over and over cause its like I knew, I just had a feeling. Andy asked me if I called my mom and I said no that I couldn't tell her. So he called her and told her there was an accident but she wanted to talk to me. I told her that we would just come out and get her because she didn't have a way to town because my dad went fishing when he got off work that night. So Andy and I left to get my mom and wehn we got back to town we went to the hospital. My mom wouldn't go inside till she knew something so her and my cousin April stayed outside. I went inside and I asked somebody where my sister was but of course nobody would say anything and I even took a nurse out to my mom and they wouldn't tell her anything either. Well once one of the ambulance drivers lied to me and told me they couldn't find her and was asking me how many people were in the truck, even though this person knew she was dead. Then Dan got there and he knew. When he got there my mom was saying something like somebody knows about Nikki. Then Dan looked at me and said I know and then I looked at him and said she is gone right and he shook his head yes. Then after that omigod, you just can't even explain how you feel, its like you just got hit so hard in your chest. Nobody could find my dad, the Beardstown cops were out looking for him. After that we just left and went over to some peoples house. My cousin stayed at the hospital and waited for my dad to come. Then after all that was over you can't explain how you feel really. At first of course it just feels like a dream. I mean its not ok but its like at first people are at your house all the time and your so busy it just keeps your mind of alot. To tell ya the truth it gets worse after awhile when everything stops, people coming over, the phone stops ringing all the time.
But what my sister from was a broken neck. It was broke right by the brain stem so she died instantly and I am thankful for that because she didn't have to suffer. She had a skull fracture, chest injuries and a broken wrist also. Nikki and Autumn flew out of the truck and Sarah stayed in it the whole time. Sarah and Autumn were pretty much ok, just cuts and bruises. But Sarah had broken ribs from hitting the stering wheel. What caused the wreck was Sarah was driving really fast and lost control and over corrected herself. It flipped twice and went airborne.
