At the recent Show Horse Council Classic (Grand National Qualifier) Glomax Countryman and Luke Dawes were awarded Runner Up Small Hack qualifing Countrymand for the 2010 Grand Nationals.
Glomax Jazzman and Rachael Crowe also excelled recently at the EFA Newcomers coming home with 2nd Runner Up out of a classy field of 15 ponies.
Glomax Memphis also competed in the Open Galloways winning Reserve Champion Galloway and Lormik Scarlet won her height class from a strong field.
Glomax Countryman has made a triumphant return to the WA Show Scene. Under the expert guidance of Luke Dawes (recently back from the UK) Countryman has competed at a handful of shows qualifying for the Perth Royal, EFA & HC HOTY and most recently being award Arabian Derivative Hack of the Year at the WAAHA Trilogy Show. We look forward to what the rest of the year will bring for this combination.
Glomax Memphis has returned to Glomax. Partnered by Tracey Karmelich he recently won Champion Show Galloway at Orange Grove Gala Day.
Glomax Jazzman and Rachael Crowe have also made us proud by winning Champion Novice and Champion Intermediate Pony at the recent EFA Novice/Intermediate & Hunter Championships under Louise Doyle.
The Studs next big Show will be the Show Horse Classic on the 31st May with Glomax Memphis competing in Show Hunter Galloway, Glomax Countryman Small Show Hack & Lormick Scarlet in Large Show Hack Section.
It has been a while since an update with quite a bit happening in the Stud. Firstly Weston Park Chaucer and Glomax Juliette have both been sold to Jan Langley at Langtree Stud in Vic. They have both travelled extremely well and have settled into there new life at Langtree with ease. We would like to wish Jan all the best with Chaucer and his lovely daughter Juliette.
Secondly the Stud has purchased a new Hack in Lormik Scarlet from Laurel Kane from Vic. Ella as she is known travelled to WA in early Feb and has settled in extremely well. She has been seen out and about at a few shows winning Champion Arabian Derivative Mare at the All Stars in April under NSW Judge A Vickery and winning the Preliminary Derivative Dressage at the Trilogy Show in early May. Ella is currently on her way to qualifying for the Perth Royal Show and HOY Shows later in the year.
EFA Bates Newcomer Award
Glomax Countryman was placed 3rd out of a classy field of 17 Hacks. Being one of the smallest in the class and beaten by two lovely 16.2hh hacks we were extremely proud of our boy.
On a much sadder note we report the passing of our two Kira Royal Acclaim broodmares in Glomax Mayfair and Glomax Jewell on 25 June 2007. They will be forever missed.
Karma Park Merlin & Glomax Royal Emblem have both been sold and settled into there new homes. We wish there new owners all the best with them.
