I have been a Gloria Estefan fan since I was approx. ten years old. I can remember all the tradgedies in her life, and I can thankfully remember all of her inspiring triumph's as well. I am a proud member of the Conga Online mailing list. I have met some great people that share similar Gloria Estefan interests.
I have had the chance to meet Gloria on a few occasions on some of my Gloria excursions. It is truly amazing how down to Earth and how she truly does take time for her fans. She has inspired me through her music, as well as her strong-willed personality. She will always be my role model for anything I attempt to do.

Beyond Gloria, I would be amiss to not mention the other heroes in my life. I am extremely proud and thankful for my parents. Their sacrifices were numerous to assure that myself, as well as my brother got all the chances they possibly could offer. I have a wonderful group of friends that I owe a gigantic amount of thanks to. My "two girls" have made my life bearable. I'm very lucky for all of them. Also, I am extremely grateful for my significant other for every emotion I have felt for the past two years. I am very lucky to have met such a person.
My musical life has also been influenced by others including Cher, Karen Carpenter, Ella Fitzgerald, Emilio Estefan, Jon Secada, Cyndi Lauper and Frank Sinatra.
