Married to former USA indoor player Christian "Chip" McCaw. McCaw is now playing professional volleyball. Amber and Chip have a son, Auden. The three of them travel together when Chip has a tournament. Amber also is actively participating in Volleyball Invitationals. She recently participated in the JAYO Invitationals together with professional and amateur players and actors. The JAYO Invitational is a benefit volleyball tournament for kids.
