| The Leopard Gecko is one of the most common reptile in the reptile trade. They are almost as popular as RES in the 1960's.The only diffrence is that kids aren't sticking them in their mouths.Leopard geckos are also much easier to provide for and care for. They are much hardier and less prone to disease than most reptiles and amphibians. They are strictly carnivorous, mostly insectivorous, and will dine on crickets, mealworms, and pinkies as adults. They also don't mind fruit flies from time to time.Be sure to dust their meals with a vitamin supplement from time to time as well (3-4 times per week).A ten gallon terrarium will house 2-3 adults comfortably, but the more room the better. They are more a show animal and should be handled minimumally and never before a shed. They normally live from 10-12 years if kept properly. | ||||||||
