Greece Language and Alphabet

Greece has lots of differrent languages.Ancient Greece is spoken in different forms and different ways that is called dialects.In Athens they had the Attic dialect.In Sparta they had the Doric dialect.Greek language has a long history. In addition to Greek, there are 14 languages spoken in Greece.Their are three different forms of modern greek.One of them is local dialects.Another example is Peloponnesos Dialect and, Northern Dialects.

Also there is greek sign language.Greek sign language is used alot in greece most of the people that use greek sign language are adults.Greek sign language is similar to english sign language.Also greek is spoken in more than 10 million inhabitants.Its also spoken all around the world.Greek language has also eveloped just like any other language.Greeks of today view their language. greek language is real fast to learn.

Greek language is also unique.From about 350 B.C and 330 A.D greek language was the basis of a common language.Many words we speak every day come from ancient greece.Over one sixth of the words in english language are greek orgin.Many of these releate to litereture and science.

When we put words on paper we owe another great debt to the greeks.English grammar,punctuation and paragraphing all began in greece.Many of our styles of literature trace their history back to greeks including drama,history,wriiting,biography,essays,novels and pantomine.Pantomine means stories acted out without words.That is all about greek language.
