Submission Guidelines

We encourage your submissions.  As a journal, until further notice, there is no compensation for submissions, whether used or unused.  However, the information you give us as the author will be given full credit.  Here are some of our guidelines for submission:

1)  Due to the format we currently use, our limit is about 5 pages, single spaced, 12 point font, Times New Roman or Arial, with few exceptions.  When we change formats off of geocities, that may change.  But for now, nothing over 5 pages, including references.

2)  We are debating source citation guidelines.  For now, no foot or endnotes.  APA format for sources is going to be our format on geocities.  Please reference an APA manual for those citation guidelines.  Give all authors used credit for their work please.  Any plagerism will cause all future work to be rejected by that author.  Authors are responsible for any expenses due to use of materials, GFI carries no responsibility for it.

3)  All submissions are subject to editorial and/or peer review.  We reserve the right to reject any submission for any reason.  Any submission made is an act of consent to the guidelines provided here.

4)  All submissions may have a pen name if the author wishes, but it should be professional in nature.  Also, we will be doing an author's qualifications page or putting it at the bottom of the article.  So we would like qualifications such as degrees, affiliations, etc., that illustrates your qualifications, and your real name for our records. (it will be held in confidence, only a court of law could get it out of us)

Submit all submissions in a Microsoft Word PC Rich Text format in download form to
[email protected]. Any downloads that are anything other than an rtf document will not be opened and the sender will be notified.  All submissions must be made by Thursday at 9pm Pacific Time for consideration on the week's articles.
