| Campaign Promises and Lost Opportunities: A new Administration (page 2) It appears that President Bush is almost as much of a campaigner who is part of the every politician lies group as former President Clinton. It appears the Republican Party is not for limited government as much as it is for different government spending. It appears that the military is important during a campaign only because of the purpose it serves in mobilizing votes, and not because they are people of valor who deserve the respect and support of Americans. Could it be that President George W. Bush isnt really that much of a change from Clinton in terms of making promises and then forgetting certain promises? Could it be that a good campaign lie for votes is not lost on President George W. Bush, just as it was not lost on Al Gore? Could it be that Ralph Nader was right when he said there is no difference between parties? There is a difference...on what they spend money on and what campaign promises they make. But much else? Not really. GFI 2/8/01 1 2 Back to Main Page |
