Greek Plants

In greek they have many different kinds of plant some of them are very different form some we know in the united states. This are found in the wild they only grew on trees witch are closer to the coast seen the greek are closer to the coast. They are lots of succulents-kind of like the cactus, but they have leaves. The greek plants different things of plants witch are carob, aleppo pines, planes, oaks, arbutus, mastic bushes, laurel, broom, oleander, and wild olives. What the greek grew in rural areas are cereals olives and vines. It barley was grown a lot-in fact, more than wheat. In the classical period,barley was especially important, probably because each person had little land to work with. Barley is good.in that kind of situation.
