Meanwhile in a cave, not far from Mt. Olympus, Hercules tiptoed inside. The heavy breathing of the Chimera was so loud that even a deaf person could hear him. He soon came to the place where the monster slept and saw fire shoot out from Chimera's snout.
Hercules knew this had to be the time to kill him and took six spears (three in each hand) and threw them at the Chimera. The creature woke up quickly and made an earsplitting roar that knocked Hercules on his butt. He slowly got onto his feet, but before he could stand upright the Chimera jumped and knocked Hercules down again. With his amazing strength Hercules threw the monster into the rock wall. Then he took the last spear and stabbed it through the Chimera's heart. With one last burst of fire from his mouth, the Chimera died.
