The mans had more freedom then the womens.The mans are alow to ran the goverment,and spent agreat deal of the time away from home.When the men entertaned their male friend's at the populary drinking parties, their wives and dauters were no allower to attend.A Greek woman did not have that mutch freedom outsied the house.They could onlyattend wedding,funerals,some religous festivals. They could only visit femals neighbors for brier period, of time.The Greek woman are more in charge to run the house and bear the chiren.Some woman did not work the house them selves.They have slaves,the womans that are slaves they cooked, cleaned,and work in fiels.The Male slave watched the door and looks that any other man goes in the house when the man is out.The only person that could go inseid the house is the femals.Slaves were inportant to ancient Greek.They were not allow to go to scholl, or enter politics. or use their own name.The person that who own them give the slaves a name, they were the property of their ownen. people become slaves in many ways , some people become slaves when capture in batte. Others were the children of slaves and many others is when or abandoned of a town, left to die, or to he rescued by someone passing by and some children were sold into slavery by poor families and others were kidnapped.SWloaves were so important to the culture of ancient Greece, that some hitorian belive there were as many slaves a tizens!The girls were not allow to go out,they stay home to help their mother to run the house,they go to school at six or seven but their school was as cruel or as rugged as the boys.At 18 they were assaint to married.In most Greek city-states when young boys stayed at home to helping in the fiels,sailing,and fishiong.At six or seven they could go to the school.The chieldren that were Acient Greek played with many toys, including rattles,little clay animals,hourse on wheels that could be pulled on a string,Yoyo's,and terra-cotta dolls.Their pet were more as birds,dogs,goats,tortoises,and mice were all popular pets!Cat's, however, were not!The greek clothing was very simple Men and Women wore line in the summer and wool in the winter. The ancient Greek could buy cloth and clothes in the agora, the market place but that was expensive.But must of the families made their clothe.
