OLYMPIC GAMES' MASCOTS

The mascots of the 2004 Olympic Games to be held in athens have been unveiled. They are two bell shaped cartoons inspired by an ancient greek doll. The two sibilings are children of modern life.Phevos and athena are two brother and sister named after two Greek gods: Phevos, the god of light and music, known as Apollo; and Athena, goddess of wisdom and patron of the city of Athens. They both represent the link between Greek history and the modern Olympic Games.

The 2004 Olympics are going to take place in Athens Greece. It's going to take place in the summer from August 13 to August 29. The Paralympic Games are going to take place from September 17 to September 28, 2004.
