What I Learnd more about Greece is about the places and what kind of gods and goddess Lived there and what city they have been an coures
they have done on the olympic like Zeus who was the first person that made one
of the olympic games.I also learned the temples of all the gods and goddess like Zeus,Hera and Apollo. The olympics had to drink lots of H2O(Water) to get ready. What they show me about them is that is was long time ago
like Apollo's in the 6th century B.C.Also in the 7th century B.C and Zeus's is in the 470-456 B.C.
I am also writing about is the events and were they took place like in a stadium. There were many events some of them we have here like boxing, wrestiling and many more in the past time ancient Greece had horse race, foot race and jumping there are many more. Some of this events were in a stadium like the stadium of Apollo and some were in some other places.
The last thing I am going to write about is the Pentathlon Aristotle describes a young man's ultimate physical beauty: "a body capable of enduring all efforts, either of the racecourse or of bodily strength...This is why the athletes in the pentathlon are most beautiful." (Aristotle, Rhetoric 1361b)The ancient Greeks considered the rhythm and precision of an athlete throwing the discus as important as his strength.
The first Olympic Games were held in 776 B.C. At first, only one race (the sprint) was run. Later, the discus and javelin throw, broad jumping and wrestling were added. The Olympic Games were held for more than 1,000 years. They were abolished by the Byzantine Emperor Theodosius in 394.
