| M-Theory, Spiritual Science? |
| Many of you will, like me, be very aware that scientists are constantly trying to find a Theory Of Everything. At the end of 2001 they think they have, it's called M-Theory. Einstein couldn't do it, then it was Quantum Physics, and, in the Nineties up popped "Superstrings". Problem with Superstrings was that it needed increasing numbers of dimensions in which to exist, not something that best pleased the scientists, especially as it reached the lofty Tenth Dimension and five Superstrings. It also involved Parallel Universes which mainstream science does not like either. Then, last year an ignored and unfashionable theory that an eleventh dimesion was necessary surfaced again. This eleventh dimension united the five superstring into one and also explained the existence of parallel universes quite eloquently. Suddenly, parallel Universes were fashionable! Now, I find parallel universes interesting, very interesting and exciting. But, I find the next bit even more exciting. Spiritual Thought says that we are all interconnected, we are One just as we are part of One, or Everything and that Everything is a conscious Oneness. Well, guess what? M-Theory demostrates that the Universe is in fact, a Membrane. A membrane in which every single atom and particle is inter-linked or inter-connected! As we are conscious, consciousness exists. Is this scientific proof of what we Spiritual seekers have been saying for thousands of years? That we are all part of the same consciousness? For decades the one thing that they have found to be their anathema is the "Singularity", that from which all things emanated. M-Theory goes a little way to helping us with that too. Our membrane is not alone, it is like a bubble in a sea of foam on the ocean, floating around and interacting with other bubbles or membranes. These other membranes are different dimensions and have totally different Laws of Physics. When two membranes interact they exchange "Laws" if you like. I put it to you then, that when our membrane interacted with another it absorbed the Law that allowed the Consciousness to manifest itself in Physical Reality? The Singularity that Scientists are looking for is the Consciousness that always existed manifesting itself in the Physical. For "M" read Meta-Physical. This page will develop as I get this head around the implications of M-Theory, in the meantime.... ALL scientific theories are just that Theories and as "Off the Planet" as the above article until "proven". The Theory called M-Theory was "Off the Planet" until only recently in scientific circles which I hope proves the point in your own scientific terms? The above article throws ideas into the ring, so to speak and is not intended to be accepted as fact, it is merely an idea not even theory that I had hoped would stimulate discussion.
