| An Energy Experience |
| I experienced the following on May 21st 2002, prior to and during a job interview. The lead up to the interview started on May 20th in the afternoon when I discovered that the acetates and flip chart paper I thought I would use for the ten minute interview presentation could not be found. Then the ink for the black cartidge dried out. I refilled the cartridge at a local store, so all prepared to simply print out a brief synopsis for the panel and my notes. 11pm, the PC refuses to recognise the printer despite much tweaking on my part. Not the best start. May 21st, day of the interview which is at 12.20pm. 11am my son is at his friends house printing out the notes etc from floppy, things are looking better! Parking at the venue is abominable so, to make sure everything is calm and I am on time I decide to take the bus. I leave in plenty of time. Either the bus was early or It wasn't on, in any event I am cutting things fine. I make it literally by the skin of my teeth, 12.18 I walk towards the interview room as one of the panel comes out to greet me. Phew! Two vey dear friends had set aside time to send Energy to me just before and during the interview.and I had had time on the journey to reflect that previous Energy sends had had limited success and that I found interviews to be very stressful indeed. Under normal circumstances I would have expected to be nervous wreck after the build up to the interview and what happened next has had a profound effect on how I view Life and things in general. I entered the room and immediately felt calm. I distributed the papers to the Panel and proceeded to the spot where I would give my presentation. I even remembered to take a drink of water beforehand and no shakes! Suddenly I experienced an intense inner calm, I could feel the tingle of the Energy all over my body and I was in total control. But this was different from other Energy experiences that I have had in the past, the emotional "high" was not there, it went beyond emotion, I felt truly "connected" with a low buzz or hum going on around me. I could "see" my friends faces and feel their presence all around. Somehow I was able to directly participate in the presentation but also be a participant at a Higher level. I could hear the words "just be yourself" over and over again and I was able to "watch" myself giving the same presentation I was participating in! This experience continued throughout the interview and for about 15/20 minutes afterwards. Why has this had such a profound effect? Well, prior to this I had experienced Energy "Highs and Lows" at an emotional level. You know, Energy is High, I feel Gooood, Energy is Low, I feel not so goood. On a couple of occasions I have had "Peak Experiences", but these have resulted in, once again, emotional Highs. This time the Energy was so great that the emotions did not come into it and, unlike the peak experiences, I was in control, there was no "rush", there was a real "understanding" of what was going on and this at a time when I should have been experiencing massive stress levels. I now know that there is a higher level to "me" that I did not know existed and one that I have tried to recreate with no success so far!
