			Christine's Style Watch What's out: Trucker hats. If you put one of these montrosities on, please don't be surprised when people snicker at you. Urban Outfitters is also going out, and I know this because of their new store on Long Island (aka the cultural wasteland that is my home) that has the sign "Strong Island". Any place that has a sign saying that is doomed. Which makes me sad, because I wear my Denmark sweatshirt every day.


What's in: Making your own stuff, which includes the big one, knitting. And for all of you hipsters who can't make your way into a craft store like Michael's, both Urban Outfitters and Delia's are selling knitting knits. Make your own leg warmers and scarves! But if you use the kits, you better like black and green. What's going to be in: Country shirts/sweatshirts and those newsie-like caps. You can argue that they're in already, but nothing is offically in until Bobby Jo in Bumblefuck, South Carolina starts wearing it. And I know what they wear in Bumblefuck, because they're all coming to New York as tourists. AHHHHH!!!

I hate: tourists, Times Square, Superman and Spiderman, trucker hats (grr!), people who ask for money on the subways and then start to yell at you when you don't give any (like I'm going to give anything NOW!), fanatics, fast food and my tendency to eat it almost every day, the malls of Long Island which I frequent way too often, Pepsi in place of Diet Coke, New Jersey stealing New York landmarks, racism, blind hatred, how strong of a word hate is

I love: the city, Warren Ellis, the subway (ecspecially the E train), waxing philosophical, English classes, my boyfriend, my family, my friends, most of my professors, writing, poetry, T.S. Eliot, Pete Wisdom and Kitty Pryde, X-Men, Excalibur, music, my broken headphones, my bag that looks like a bowling ball bag (thought I hate bowling), walking, the wind
