Personality:  Cloe is a serious and professional woman.  Prone to spending too much time thinking, she is a firm believer in the adage "look into the abyss and the abyss looks into you".  Her time as a criminal profiler should have hardened her up, but in fact Cloe was worried when she realized that she was never distrubed by the insanity of some of the killers she helped to capture.  She has a strong affinity with her patients and works tirelessly to help, often at the expense of her health as she tires easily. Cloe feels isolated from the rest of MI-X who she views as juvenile and yet wants to be accepted by desperatly.
Brief History:  As a child, Cloe heard voices and was sent by her parents to Charles Xavier, believing her to be a telepath.  Realizing the girl was not a mutant but suffering from schizophrenia, Xavier healed the girl.  Cloe spent some time with him before returning to Italy.  At the age of sixteen, her parents revealed to her the truth about what had happened to her at Xavier's: Cloe had thought that she was a telepath who was helped by the man.  After learning of her mental disease and fearing its return, Cloe decided to devote herself to psychiatry.  After studying at Italy's best universities, she was recruited to work as a criminal profiler for the Italian government.  Eventually, other countries heard about her success and Cloe lended her service for a few years before being contacted by MI-X and offered a stable job.  Shortly after joining, Cloe recieves a visitor who leaves her shaken: Phoenix, or Rachel Summers.  By studying and comparing scans of their brains, Cloe realized that both of their minds had been tampered with by the same force.  Cloe suspects Xavier, though is afraid to admit it outloud.  After Rachel's second breakdown and subesquental mental coma, Cloe became even more invested with the girl, spending months tending to her.
