Saturday

Woke up to rain, which sucked big time. But by the time we got into the arena it was really hot and sunny. I basically stayed by the main stage all day coz there were so many good bands on:

Vex Red: Only caught the end of their set. I'm not a big fan but they sounded quite good.

Andrew WK: hahahahaha! This guy is such an idiot it's just funny. All his songs sound the same - crap! By the time he'd got on stage a few bottles had been thrown and when he came on stage loadsa bottles and crap were thrown at him, lol. He had to keep jumping outta the way of em. I think one bottle hit him though.

Less than Jake: I don't know many songs by these guys but they were so kool. They were just mucking around on stage and their songs were really good.

A: We got fairly near the front for A and they were really good. 'Nothing' really got the crowd going as did 'Starbucks'.

The Hives: Ahh the Hives are great. Can't remember what the singers name is but he kept making jokes and stuff. Good performance too :D

Sum41: We moved back into the crowd for this and ended up just outside the mosh pit :) Sum41 were on top form and 'Fat Lip' was insane with everyone jumping to the music except this annoying girl who was in front of me and Caz. She refused to jump even though everyone else around her was going crazy and didn't like it when Caz tried to support herself on her shoulder...this is how people get hurt in a mosh pit!

Ash: wohoo! Ash were great. They weren't going to play originally because they were involved in a bus crash! But they came on and played a good set even though their bassist was in a neck collar and looked to be in pain most of the time :S They played old classics like 'Goldfinger', 'Oh yeah' and 'Girl from Mars' as well as their excellent new single 'Envy'.

Muse: I managed to miss half of their set because I was trying not to get killed in the pit by over excited (prolly drunk or stoned) blokes who got violent. I also got drenched from the downpour of rain, which came down just before Muse went on stage. From what I saw of the band they were excellent! 'Bliss' was just amazing, I literally said "WOW this is amazing!" They had these massive balloons filled with paper and glittery stuff, which were set out across the crowd. It was quite a sight.

Foo Fighters: I didn't really know many of their songs and I wasn't really in the mood for watching a band. I was cold, wet through, muddy, my back hurt and I was generally pissed off. 'Monkey Wrench' was good though as was 'Breakout'.

By the time we got back to the camp I was too pissed off to even talk to anyone or eat so I went straight to bed. Yeh, Saturday was soo not a good night for me :(

Reading, Saturday morning...need I say more :p
