We woke up about 7 thanks to the guys next door *groan* but I didn't get up properly until about 8.30. After a breakfast of Pot noodle and cereal bars (my festival diet) we ventured into town to get some water and food. It's quite a walk into Reading from the campsite and by the time we got back my ankle was killing me. It was really swollen and hurt :( About 2pm ish we went into the arena to start seeing bands. First of all I went to the medical tent thang to get something for my ankle. They were bloody useless and gave me 2 tiny lil plasters for it...bleh!! Anyhoo, the bands:

Dandy Warhols: Totally chilled out kool band. The only song I knew was 'Bohemian like you' but it was still a good performance.

New Found Glory: Me and Sarah went to the Evening session tent for this and got fairly near the front before the band came on. However when they did get on the stage the crush was so bad we had to get out and move further back. It was awful...there were so many people pushing from behind. The band was excellent though. Every song was great. Highlights were 'Hit or Miss' and 'My Friends over you'.

Weezer: I didn't think I would enjoy Weezer as much as I did. They really were amazing. I didn't know half the songs but I still thought they were great :D I'm gonna HAVE to buy one of their albums, hehe.

The Breeders: Didn't really see this band...just heard them as we were sitting in the evening session tent waiting for FEEDER :D

FEEDER: wohoo! We started off in the middle of the pit but ended up having to get out coz of the crush (that tent was awful for large crowds). After that we stood to the right hand side where I could actually see more :) The set was great, mixing old songs in with Echo Park classics like 'Buck Rogers' (which EVERYONE sang along to, hehe) then moving on to some of the new songs which will be on the new album :D Grant was looking yummy as ever and Sphee who was with me even said what a babe he was <3 hehehe :)
