| HOW TO GATHER TULLE 1) Begin by tacking or basting 1/2cm away from the edge of the fabric using longest stitch length setting on machine. Ensure that one side of the stitching is securely triple-stitched, or reversed over several times. Leave other end loose. 2) Tack or baste an inch in from the line you just sewed. 3) By pulling on two threads (one thread from each row) you will get gathers. Do not remove tacking stitches until gathered tulle layer has been sewn on properly to tutu proper. |
