My name is Holly, and I am a sixteen year old resident of *insert random small town name nobody has ever heard here*, Louisiana. Imagine right in between New Orleans and Baton Rouge. That's me *points*. I have dark brown nearly black hair, with hazel eyes. I've been dolling off and on for about four years, and am an active member in many forums, including SPS, Eden Enchanted, The Underground, and Fairytopia, where my name is black_lace on all of them. Don't worry, I don't sit on my computer all day. I also enjoy dancing, and I am a member of my school's dance team, where I'm going to be a junior (11th grade) next year. My favorite color is green. I like to eat, too. Especially junk food. I have a thing for fried cheese and marinara sauce. I am currently single. Oh, and by the way, I'm a diagnosed Star Wars addict.

about the site and the dolls

Four years ago. An innocent twelve year old opened up a rather unknown program, Adobe Photoshop. Her first doll was created using a tutorial at Xandorra's Place, a site she had stumbled upon while looking for a dollmaker to make regular preps for a buddy icon. Inspired, she grabbed a base from Xandorra and began to doll. A dolling frenzy you could have called it. For the next four years, her spare time was filled with color and pixels. After discovering forums like Eden Enchanted and Fairytopia only in the past year, she began to communicate with other dollers. She saw more and more sites every day, eventually inspiring her to make her own. [end flashback here] Glitter. Glam. Black Lace. A Doll Site. was created on July 6, 2006 after so much crap accumulated in my doll folder that I decided to site-ify it all. Most of my dolls, as well as the graphics on the site, were created in Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I started off only tool shading, but I never really got too good at it. I much prefer to pixel shade, though I usually combine the two types due to laziness. ^_^
