Five time Most Valuable Player and widely regarded as the greatest to ever play, Michael Jordan returns to the NBA after a three year absence.
The six time NBA champion will donate his entire salary for the upcomming season to the victims of the September 11 attacks.
The creator of this site, along with a small few, predicted that Jordan would return to play against a majority who thought otherwise.
Not to say I told you so, but.... I told you so.
Some have argued that Jordan is tampering with his legacy which included capping his carrer with a final shot that gave him his sixth title in eight years (see left).
Nonsense.
20 years from now, 10 years from now, no one will remember anything but Jordans hours and hours of highlight reels featuring him running, and
flying circles around the worlds best players. To eliminate any confusion: his rings and stockpiles of awards aren't going anywhere.
Everyone will watch when Jordan steps on the court.
And they should.
Jordan at 75% is better than most other players. He is, was and will be, incomporable... legendary. He's clearly not playing for the money, he truely loves the game, overcomming obstacles, facing challenges. Why not enjoy and cheer for him?

Current Washington Wizards Standings and Notes
In '93 his father was murdered and he returned in '95. He retired in '98 and returned in 2001. Jordan has now said that when the current season ends, it will absoultely be his last. He has always said he was 99.9% sure he would never come back in his previous two (arguably reasonable) retirements. Nontheless, many have grown tired of Jordan's leaving and returning to basketball. In this, his third retirement, he has said he's 100% sure he's done. And when he's gone, the people who failed to look beyond his changing playing status, or his absence of once common mind blowing dunks, will have missed out on a remarkable legend who transcends what just shows up on a highlight reel.
