| Gary Lenton (264) took heat two holding off the consistant challenges of Frankie (515). "I got away well at the start, the car was going very well. It just seemed to suit the track tonight. I could see Frank in my mirror, he was getting close but not close enough to get on my bumper. I thought he would give me a go on the last lap but he dropped back a bit and I think someone had closed up on him." After the sucess in Australia, how does it feel to be back home racing? "Well, this is my local track, I just live down the road and to tell the truth, I would trade that Australian Championship for a final win here. Australia is a beautiful place, I want to live there, so much." How about emigrating, do they need people out there with the skills you have, they tend to be a bit selective these days. "What me? ...I am a `Garbologist` ...everyone needs them!" (I should point out that Gary drives a large commercial vehicle for the local council ...Oh! Figure it out yourselves!) |
