With the advent of Spring come several events that you might like to put on your calendars and participate in.
Thursday, 2 April: On this date, our regular meeting, we will open lodge one hour earlier than usual: at 6:30 p.m. Immediately after opening we will recess at 6:45 p.m. At that time, thanks to Brother Jerry Kinner, who made the arrangements, we will host an informative presentation of the Converse County Coalition Against Violence, led by coordinator Frank Wiederrecht of Douglas. Please note that WIVES and TEENAGERS, as well as OTHERS who might find this timely issue to be of interest, are INVITED and ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. It will be well worth your time. LET'S PLEASE HAVE A GOOD TURNOUT for our visitor.
Saturday, 4 April: Casper Lodge 42 is hosting the Central Wyoming Masonic Club beginning at 9 a.m. at the Casper Shrine Club. The gathering is a western theme--Western Patriotism--and as such we are all encouraged to wear jeans, western shirts, boots, and hats. The lunch will include steak, potatoes, and beans. The charge will be $15 or $20, yet to be determined.
Thursday, 7 May: Elections for the new year are scheduled to be held. Hope to see a BIG turnout for that.
A couple of summer events are in the works, including a Lodge float at Deer Creek Days, and a booth at the Glenrock Jubilee and Taste of Glenrock in June. More on these and other activities in the next letter. REMINDER: It's dues time if you haven't already sent them in.
Fraternally,
