The guy with the boat gets the babes. It is true now and it was true in 1952. That's at 202 east First. What's there now? All the cross country traffic went right through Glenns Ferry in those days. There were signals 1 block west at First and commercial. A motorist could select from about a dozen gas stations and if a truck burnt out a rod bearing the crankshaft could be reground and the repair completed at Shrum Motors while the driver took a nap. |
