SHL Newsletter - December 2001

The draft pool and draft order for the 
inaugural draft were determined this month. 
The eight SHL teams will be playing a 154 
season. All necessary adjustments and factors 
were calculated for the 280-man draft pool. 
The draft was originally planned for early 
January. However APBA won't be issuing cards 
until mid-January so the draft is tentatively 
scheduled for mid-February. 

Gordon Rodell became the Director of Player Personnel. 

Teams have submitted preliminary specs for 
team logos. There were some interesting and 
creative submissions. We all look forward to 
seeing the final products.
