Las Vegas Caesars

1. Age: 39

2. City in which you currently live: Las Vegas, Nevada

3. Hometown: I grew up in Palm Desert, California

4. Occupation: Lawyer

5. Single/Married: Married, no kids

6. Kids (and ages): N/A

7. Years playing APBA: 25

8. How many APBA games do you roll per year: I'm just back after a layoff of a few years

9. Favorite Baseball team and why (current): Chicago Cubs (lifelong -- my grandfather's influence).

10. Favorite Baseball team and why (all-time): 1984 Chicago Cubs. They were clearly the best team in the NL that season -- then they broke my heart in the playoffs in San Diego.

11. Favorite Baseball player and why (current): Berkman, Giles, or Sosa -- I tend to like pure hitters who really love to play the game.

12. Favorite Baseball player and why (all-time): Ryne Sandberg. He just did it all.

13. Favorite Baseball stadium (current): Wrigley Field

14. List of Major League Baseball stadiums youve been to: Wrigley Field, Old Comiskey Park, Old County Stadium (Milwaukee), Riverfront Stadium, Dodger Stadium, Anaheim Stadium (old and new), Jack Murphy Stadium (old and new), Candlestick Park, PacBell Park, Kingdome, Bank One Ballpark

15. Favorite College Team: Notre Dame Fighting Irish (I'm an N.D. graduate.)

16. Non-APBA hobbies: Traveling, sports in general, scuba diving.

17. If I could play MLB, what position would I play: I wouldn't be choosy.

18. Most Memorable APBA Moment (sentences/paragraphs OK here): We had an eight-team, 36-game league in high school, using the 1977 set. I had the Cubs, with DeJesus, Murcer, Cardenal, Ontiveros, Buckner, Reuschel, and Sutter. Just a lot of fun and vivid memories.

19. If you had a chance to have dinner with any baseball player that ever lived, who would that be? Bill Buckner. One of the best pure hitters of his time. He had a tremendous career that was tragically overshadowed by one incredibly freak moment in time.

20. General Comments (Do you like the DH? Do you like interleague play? Have you ever rolled any No Hitters or Perfect games? Ever end a game in a Walk Off" Home Run?)
I detest the DH and interleague play. They've tried to "fix" something that was never broken.
