5. Single/Married: Married to a wonderful lady, Gail from upstate PA

6. Kids (and ages): No children

7. Years playing APBA: 42 since 1960

8. How many APBA games do you roll per year: 648+

9. Favorite Baseball team and why (current): Philadelphia Phillies. It's my hometown team

10. Favorite Baseball team and why (all-time): see #9

11. Favorite Baseball player and why (current): Pat Burrell. He is the up and coming Hank Aaron of the NL

12. Favorite Baseball player and why (all-time): A tie between Richie Ashburn. He was my father's favorite and it just trickled down to me; Ryne Sandberg, who seemed to play the game, not for the money.

13. Favorite Baseball stadium (current): Fenway Stadium-that's the way baseball is suppose to smell, even when the wind changes and it smells like fish. LOL

14. List of Major League Baseball stadiums youve been to: The Vet, Fenway and PNC Park in Pittsburgh-that's the way a stadium should be run. Check it out sometime. They are very classy there.

15. Favorite College Team: Don't follow college baseball once. I did attend the University of Texas at El Paso, Don Maynard's and Tiny Archibald's alma mater.

16. Non-APBA hobbies: Volunteer at a no-kill animal shelter

17. If I could play MLB, what position would I play: Catcher, that's where I was stuck as the fat kid but I loved it when I pitched.

18. Most Memorable APBA Moment (sentences/paragraphs OK here): I was a fire dispatcher for the Philadelphia Fire Dept. When we worked the overnight shift, we were allowed to bring in things to help pass the time. There was another dispatcher who played the game. We were replaying the Houston-Phillies NLCS (The greatest NLCS ever). It was the bottom of the 9th in the 5th game. I was Houston and winning 7-4, Bases were loaded and Mike Schmidt was up, AND PROMPTLY HIT A GRAND SLAM. YUCK, LOL But the best one was when I got the valuable 1961 APBA set as my first set. I played them into the ground. If I would've known then what I know now about the cards, I never would've desecrated those cards. I wrote on them with pen; changed numbers around to suit me; changed names around and lost several cards. Thanks to the Cardfather and other APBA friends, I recreated the set. I found most of the cards at my house and got several from others.

19. If you had a chance to have dinner with any baseball player that ever lived, who would that be? Without a doubt, Richie Ashburn. Sorry, I'm a homer.

20. General Comments (Do you like the DH? Do you like interleague play? Have you ever rolled any No Hitters or Perfect games? Ever end a game in a Walk Off" Home Run?)
I could do without the DH but if it was in both leagues, maybe, but it takes away from the 25-man roster.
Interleague play is great. It gives you the chance to see players in the AL that you'd only see on TV in a NL city.
I've rolled many no and 1 hitters and only 1 perfect game. My first no hitter was against a powerhouse team in my first and best league PRO3 and played it face to face.
And had many, many walk off (I hate that term) homers.
