| Name: Steffen Iversen Place of Birth: Oslo, Norway Date of Birth: 11/10/76 Height: 6 ft 1in Maxtheyid rating: Iversen is one of my favorite players, he always gives 100% and is a prolific finisher on his day. He has been unfortunate with injuries at his time with Spurs although he seems to have turned the corner and really started to prove his worth. It is no suprise that AC Milan and Valencia were tracking the former Rosenborg frontman, Iversen is an all round player with a good first touch and awareness. Steffen always works hard for the cause and hardly ever gives the ball away. Another thing that is impressive with Iversen is that he is hardly ever giving fouls and off-sides away, although he is always in the thick of things if it gets nasty. Maxtheyid's Favorite Iversen Moment: His superb hat-trick vs Sunderland in his first season at Spurs. Showed the Spurs fans why he was sought after with a hat-trick to destroy Sunderland. His third goal was a volley from 25 yards which sealed the game and endeared him to the Spurs faithfull. Now that he is injury free he is starting to show his true class. |
