He was born in flesh He lived a perfect life He showed us love He showed us miracles He shared words of understanding He showed us how to lean on faith He gave us a promise. He took a beating He was nailed to the cross Was crucified Shed His blood . And for what? He done all this for us? Yes, for our sins That we might be saved, and have everlasting life With Him He arose 3 days later Descended into the clouds Today we celebrate what Jesus did for us He died and rose again like He said A day is coming when He Christ our Lord Jesus will return for His people. Matt 28:2 �behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door� Matt 28:5 �the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. Matt 28:6: �He is not here: for he is risen, as he said�. |
