Steve played over 1000 games for the club and holds the record for most appearances in the league, FA cup, league cup and europe.
He has also won more medals than any other Spurs player with 2 league cups, 2 Uefa cups and 2 FA cups alongside the player of the year award in 1982.
Signed as an apprentice in 1967 he made his debut in 1969 as a midfielder but played most of his career in defence.
Perryman was made captain in 1975.
