Just an old ham
who still plays with his radio in the night
...
   so, here is what I do for fun :

HW-8 ,  very Long-Wire , 1940 bug  ,,,, QRP/CW

applied to Amateur Radio CW operations.
Emphasizing Analog Phase-Filters
in Audio Double-Notch Filtering circuits.
A Radical departure utilizing Analog circuits for
Dual-Channel Differential Phase-Filter circuits .

Personal Interest in Ham Radio :
is designing Radical Phase-Filtered circuits for my Vintage HW-8 Rig
and    "Rattling-Brass" . with my 1940 Bug.
Electrical Science,,, Ham radio QRP / CW only !!!

Y Siempre,
estoy celebrando los recuerdos de viejos amigos míos.

Personal History :
This is where I came from in the 50's

When did you first hear CW ?
...  For me it was as K4KKQ, teenager,
in the mid 50's, at Norfolk, VA,
at the Naval Air Station, in the Ham Shack.
The Navy CW ops were exceptional !
The CW ops could, and would operate at 65 wpm.
They could and would give lessons, demos, QSO,
at any speed

...  the mill , the paper-tape puncher,
the paper-tape reader
were all set up for demonstration
... you type it
then the chief would receive it by ear (65wpm)
and type it back to you . Amazing skills.

... So,  Just 10 years from WWII in the Pacific,
on Carriers, Destroyers, and Submarines,
these Navy radio ops had three things going for them
that I never had
(1) Talent
(2) Opportunity,
(3)
the Motivation that Only Comes
from Knowing there are Incoming Torpedoes !!!

Current Station :
Rig #1: Vintage Retro Station, 2013, 1977    HeathKit HW8 , and 1940 Bug.
QRPp / CW    at   1 Watt on 20M    into Long-Wire 225 ft.
sometimes :Rig#2: Kenwood TS830  ...   QRP/CW only on  40M   ...

* HW8  with Analog CW Signal Processor  & Oscope
   for Weak Signal CW Ops .
* works well down to S1 CW signals.

* This Circuit  I use daily with my HW8 and old Bug working weak signals.
* Roofing Dual-Channel-Differential Phase-Filter,
* Active Log-Limiter,
* Quad Filter, with Differental & Integral Phase-Filtered Stages,
* Audio class B, articulated.
