My classroom instruction will be guided by the Standards and Objectives required by New York State.  I believe these standards and objectives are critical for a well balanced and consistent assessment of classrooms across the board.  This Standardized and Formal assessments are a very good tool of making sure student’s are getting the education they deserve; plus it is also a very good barometer if lesson plans and techniques are the best they can be.  There can always be room for betterment and adaptation.

 And although instruction should be geared and guided by these Standards and Objectives, there is always room to think outside the box and try new and creative ways to pique interest of children in our trust.  By working together with fellow instructors and administrators, we can make our job of being the best educators we can be that much more effective
