I will devote a majority of my intentions to the New York State Learning Standards.  A copy of these can be gotten easily from my home page; simply click on the “State Education Department” logo on my first page.  New York State is making great strides in giving children the best education possible.  In that end, these standards and objectives are the culmination of their efforts.

However the guidelines of these Standards and Objectives does not mean that teachers can ever stop looking outside the box in an effort to stimulate more interest and curiosity from Children.  I will make great strides in continuing my education and learning.  Education does not stand still and neither can educators.

It is my goal to not make the classroom a mystery.  Parent’s across the world see their children off each morning giving great trust to educators.  I will make every effort to make sure the communication between myself and parents a priority.  Only through communication, often, will your child receive the best education both you and I can provide.

I will expect a great deal from all the children in my trust.  I believe children reach for greater goals and challenges if they truly feel others have confidence.  I will not pass judgment on other than they are capable of miracles.
