This is Marita's debut at Zach. REGIONAL THEATRE: Peter Pan, West Side Story, Gypsy, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Music Man (Zaneeta understudy), and You're a Good Man Charlie Brown (Lucy) at Austin Musical Theatre. Other credits include My Fair Lady at the State Theatre, South Pacific at Zilker, Godspell at Manchaca UMC, Alice in Wonderland (the Mouse), Kentucky Cycle (Rachel Rowen), Playing for Time (Etalina), and Pippin (Fastrada) at Bowie's Starlight Theatre. OTHER: As a senior at Bowie High School, Marita is deeply involved in choir and theatre. She was a member of the Texas All State Choir and acts as president, section leader, and choreographer in her school's choir department. Last summer Marita was an apprentice at Ann Reinking's Broadway Theatre Project where she studied with some of Broadway's best performers and instructors.
