Rules for the Glebe Allotment Association
Nottingham Road, Barrow-upon-Soar.

Adopted on the14th January 2015

1. The site shall be overseen by an elected Advisor who will help with aspects of site maintenance and some safety issues. The Advisor will also liaise with the landlord as and when required.

2. All plots should be kept in a reasonable state.

3. No dumping of waste shall be allowed.

4. Members Association subscription should be paid annually on the 2nd day of January. National Allotment Assocition subscriptions will be paid from the Associations funds.

5. The secretary should be notified of change of a members address as soon as possible.

6. Bonfires. The burning of any material that would produce acrid smoke, for example plastic or rubber substances should be avoided.
Bonfires should not be left unattended.
Have regard for other plot holders and neighbours when lighting fires.

7. Care should be taken to avoid creating hazards on the site.

8. Relinquishing a plot. Please inform Committee member if you intend to relinquish your plot in order that a new tenant can be found.

9. Complaints regarding the landlord other than site maintenance or safety should be addressed to the Committee.
