| Mobile Suit and Character Skills |
| These are all current skills for mobile suit combat. These are all active skills, and as such are use for determining the number of dice used for attacking or your skill in a certain type of mobile suit. Each weapon type required different skill, and thus it is helpful to know a wide range of skills, or skills suited for your character's combat prefferance. Skills cost one point, and each additonal point added gives one extra die. The max skill in anything without Newtype Powers or Specialization is 6. You may specialize in a specific suit or weapon, raising your ability with that weapon. Specialization give +1 to your skill when using that weapon or suit. However, it drops your standard skill by 1 point due to you focus on one specific weapon or suit. Specialization costs no additional points, and allows you to exceed the max skill of 6.
