The United States is the world's third largest country in population
and the fourth largest in size.
- It consists of 50 states and a federal district.

- The lowest point in North America, in Death Valley is

- The first person to be elected President under the Constitution was
George Washington.
- Our present day President is George Walker Bush. He is our 43rd
president. His father, George Herbert Walker Bush was our 41st
President, serving from 1989 to 1993.

We, the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect
union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquillity, provide for
the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the
blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and
establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
